Three in One

Good afternoon, y'all!  I've got one more post, for you all, this week.  Promise!  No more!  I'm sure you all need a break just as much as I do ;).  But I just had to pop in here with a fall-inspired card, that I actually made for the Market Street Stamps August Block Party, before the turn of events I posted in my previous, MSS Block Party post.  So, why not share it anyhow?  Right?  Enjoy!
I started this card by topping a piece of lime, penmanship, patterned paper with a strip of multicolored, floral, patterned paper, as well as a chevron-stamped, in Pool Party ink, piece of Pool Party cardstock; ink distressing the created piece's outside edges; framing it with a piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock; and machine stitching, with pink-threaded, zig-zag stitches, around its outside edges, as well as between each, patterned, paper connection, before adhering it to the kraft, cardstock, card face.
A length of orange, gingham ribbon was then wrapped, near horizontal center, around the prepped piece; tied, in a bow, near the left edge of the prepped piece; and embellished with an orange button, laced with a duet of hemp twine bows.
The scarecrow was then stamped, in Jet Black ink, on an ink distressed, white, cardstock rectangle; colored in with colored pencils and mineral spirits; dressed up with a pink, button blossom, laced with hemp twine, as well as a touch of glitter at the cheeks; and framed with both a piece of Island Indigo cardstock and pink-threaded, straight, machine stitches.
I then stamped the "bountiful blessings" sentiment, in Basic Black ink, vertically, in the bottom left corner, before anchoring the prepped piece, just to the right of the embellished bow, with foam tape.
Finally, I stamped the pumpkin, in Jet Black ink, on white cardstock; colored it in with colored pencils and mineral spirits; hand cut it out; and adhered it, with foam tape, in the bottom right corner of the scarecrow panel.  A little more glitter completes the look.
Further inspiration for this card came from The Ribbon Girl's August Card Challenge (ribbon, bow, twine), The Ribbon Reel's Challenge #34: Retro...
and Jay Gee's Nook's Challenge #22.  The warmth of the photos reminded me of fall.  Plus, I just had to pull in those chevrons.
Have an extra blessed weekend, y'all!  Hugs!
